Location: Bridgeport, Indiana
Construction of the docking facility for a gaming boat included two sheet pile walls, each 6,000 feet long with piling 45 to 75 feet in length. The sheet pile walls were tied back with three rows of anchors that varied from 90 to 160 feet in length and having loads of 70 to 170 kips.
Six hundred and fifty H-piles were driven between the walls for the mat foundation that supports the boat access ramp.
A 52 foot diameter mooring cell, 90 feet in length, was constructed as a boat anchor and to protect it from floating debris and ice.
