Location – Cincinnati, Ohio
Expansion at the University of Cincinnati’s off campus Genome Research Institute included support of a hillside. The selected earth retention system was permanent soil nailing. The total protected face of 7,000 square feet included a maximum retained height of 40’. Four successful verification tests were performed on the double corrosion protection soil nails.
