Location – Jewett, Texas
A large pit that acts as a coal dumping facility at this power plant was to be built on a constricted site. Richard Goettle, Inc. was contracted to install over 580 tieback anchors to support a tangent augercast pile wall system constructed by others. The anchors had to be installed among many utilities as well as a well point system which kept the pit dewatered.
